Product overview

The ELEGOO Neptune 4 Max is a large FDM 3D printer for makerspaces and design labs that need room for big models or several smaller parts printed in one run. Its build volume measures 420 × 420 × 480 mm.

The printer runs pre-installed Klipper firmware on a 64-bit ARM processor, reaching speeds of up to 500 mm/s with acceleration up to 8000 mm/s². A dual-gear direct extruder feeds a 300 °C high-temperature nozzle, so students can print with PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA and nylon on the heated build plate. A 121-point (11 × 11) automatic bed-leveling routine simplifies setup before each print.

Files can be sent over Wi-Fi, LAN or USB, and the web interface allows remote monitoring and control of several printers on a network. Models are prepared in ELEGOO Slicer, making the Neptune 4 Max a good fit for older students moving from CAD design to large functional prototypes.

    Ender 3 V3 3D Printer

The Creality Ender-3 V3 is a filament (FFF) desktop 3D printer built around a CoreXZ motion system, in which the X and Z axes are linked and driven together. This layout lets it reach print speeds of up to 600 mm/s with accelerations of up to 20,000 mm/s², while a metal frame with die-cast parts keeps it stable during fast moves. It uses a direct extruder with a metal hotend and a hardened-steel, quick-swap 0.4 mm nozzle that heats to 300 °C, and a heated bed that reaches 110 °C. Two part-cooling fans help produce clean surfaces and overhangs. The printer handles 1.75 mm filaments including PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU and carbon-fibre-filled PLA and PETG, with layer heights from 0.1 to 0.35 mm. Files can be sent over Wi-Fi or USB and stored on 8 GB of internal memory, and the printer works with Creality Print slicing software and the Creality Cloud platform, with over-the-air firmware updates. In schools, it gives students a quick way to turn their CAD designs into physical prototypes for design, engineering and maker projects.

    Ender 3 V3 Plus 3D Printer

The Creality Ender-3 V3 Plus is the larger version of the Ender-3 V3, offering a 300 x 300 x 330 mm build volume for bigger parts or several smaller prints at once. Like the standard model, it uses a CoreXZ design in which the X and Z axes are linked and driven by two high-torque motors, reaching up to 600 mm/s with accelerations of up to 20,000 mm/s². Its gantry and base are each made from a single die-cast aluminium alloy piece, and two support rods reduce Z-axis wobble, while two Y-axis motors move the larger print bed. A robust extruder, a tri-metal quick-swap nozzle and a 60 W hotend heater keep material flowing, and front and rear part-cooling fans help prevent warping, drooping and stringing. The printer connects over Wi-Fi and works with Creality Print and Creality Cloud, which makes it practical to manage several printers in a school lab or makerspace. Its larger build area suits group projects, models, prototypes and design-and-technology work that would not fit on a smaller printer.

    K2 Plus Combo Multi-Color 3D Printer

The Creality K2 Plus Combo pairs the K2 Plus printer with one Creality Filament System (CFS) unit for multi-colour 3D printing. The CFS holds several spools and uses RFID to recognise the type, colour and amount of filament, switching between them automatically during a print. Up to four CFS units can be linked for as many as 16 colours. The K2 Plus is an enclosed CoreXY printer with a 350 x 350 x 350 mm build volume and a die-cast frame. It prints at up to 600 mm/s with accelerations of up to 30,000 mm/s², using an all-metal hotend and hardened-steel nozzle that reaches 350 °C, a bed that heats to 120 °C and an actively heated chamber for engineering filaments. Supported materials include PLA, PETG, PET, ABS, ASA and carbon-fibre-filled grades such as PLA-CF, PA-CF and PPA-CF. Dual AI cameras monitor prints, adjust flow and alert users to failures. The printer connects via dual-band Wi-Fi or Ethernet, has 32 GB of storage and works with Creality Cloud. In schools it supports advanced design projects, colour-coded models and functional parts.

    Falcon 2 Laser Engraver

The Creality Falcon2 is a 22 W diode laser engraver and cutter. Its laser module combines four 6 W diodes using FAC spot-compression technology, giving it enough power to cut 15 mm wood in a single pass and engrave at speeds of up to 25,000 mm/min. On stainless steel, the laser can produce a wide range of colours by heating the surface. A built-in air assist blows smoke away from the work and helps protect the lens; the airflow can be set manually with a knob or controlled automatically from LightBurn. The machine works with LaserGRBL and LightBurn on Windows and macOS, and it can also run offline from a TF card, with an offline dynamic preview for positioning jobs without a computer. Assembly takes only three steps. In a school makerspace or design-and-technology room, the Falcon2 lets students engrave and cut their own designs in wood and other materials, turning digital drawings into signs, models, puzzles and prototypes under appropriate supervision and safety procedures.
