Product overview

The LEGO® Classic Gray Baseplate (11024) is a large, open building surface measuring over 38 cm (14.5 in.) square. Its 48x48 grid of 2,304 aligned studs gives children plenty of space to build street scenes, castles, landscapes or any other creation they imagine.

The baseplate grips LEGO® bricks firmly enough to hold them at any angle, even upside down. This makes it easy to move finished builds around the classroom and to display them without models falling apart.

No instructions or batteries are needed — it is ready for open-ended building straight out of the box. In school, it works well as a shared base for group projects, design challenges and classroom displays.
