    SPIKE™ Prime Set

The LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Set is a hands-on STEAM kit designed for lower-secondary classrooms. Its 528 pieces combine colourful LEGO® bricks with a programmable hub, motors and sensors, so students can design and build working models and robots and then control them with code. Programming is done in the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ App, which starts with Scratch-based drag-and-drop blocks and lets students move on to text-based Python when they are ready. Activities range from easy entry projects to open-ended design challenges that build problem-solving, critical thinking and teamwork, whatever a student's starting level. The set is supported by more than 50 hours of curriculum-aligned learning inside the app, together with classroom activities, getting-started materials and teacher resources. It suits regular lessons, coding clubs and FIRST® LEGO® League teams, and can be extended with the SPIKE™ Prime Expansion Set.

    SPIKE™ Prime Expansion Set

The LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Expansion Set is designed to be used alongside the SPIKE™ Prime Set, giving secondary students the extra parts they need to tackle bigger and more complex creations. It contains more than 600 LEGO® Technic and System elements in a refreshed colour palette. Among the additions are two large wheels, gear racks, an extra Large Motor and an extra Colour Sensor, plus a Maker Plate that makes it quick and simple to mount single board computing (SBC) devices of your choice onto LEGO® models. Combined with the SPIKE™ Prime Set and the free SPIKE™ App, the expansion unlocks more than 10 hours of curriculum-based learning focused on robotics competitions. Online lesson plans and teacher support materials help educators prepare teams and run the activities in class.

    SPIKE™ Prime Combo Pack – 15 sets + expansions for 30 students

The LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime Combo Pack equips a full class of 30 middle school students in one order. It contains 15 SPIKE™ Prime Sets and 15 SPIKE™ Prime Expansion Sets, so students working in pairs each have both the core kit and the additional parts. Each core set combines colourful LEGO® building elements with easy-to-use hardware and Scratch-based drag-and-drop coding, keeping students engaged in hands-on STEAM projects that develop critical thinking and problem-solving at any level. The expansion sets add the parts needed to build more complex solutions and explore new ideas. The pack suits schools that want a consistent robotics setup across a whole class or club. LEGO® Education also offers professional learning to help teachers get started, and schools needing a different mix of core and expansion sets can arrange it through their supplier.
